Gosh its all a scam......or am i wrong?

Ok i was using bio claire and it worked perfectly for me....it lighten my skin just the way i wanted it. The only bad thing was i wasnt using sun block, so i got dark anytime i get exposed to sun rays.e I was told on here to stop using it and start using prodcts like mary kay or ambi. I thought i would give it a try...I bought mary kay cleanser and toner, and bought ambi body lotion and facial moisturizer all for a fortune. Now guess what everyone, i have terrible pimples from using the products and i am so dark now. This morning, i thought well to hell with all these expensive products i am going back to using kojic and licorice product. So i have bought green tea lightening cream and soap with sunblock. Anyone ever used that product? I dont think i will buy any of those expensive products they have been disturbing us with.

I'm sorry to hear you got bad advice...especially when it comes to your skin. I am an Esthetician and I know from my own experiences (similar to yours) that it is not the name you should be paying for...it is the product and its ingredients! And you seem to have found both a product you can afford with ingredients you like. With that being said, under no circumstance should you ever be using any kind of skin lightener ie. Hydroquinone, Kojic Acid etc. without using Sun Protection!! You are almost guaranteed to cause sun damage and are at a way higher risk for Hyperpigmentation (dark spot) as you get older. It is good to hear you are back on a product that works for your but if you don't want to be on it for the rest of your life you better invest in a sun protection! And not a cleanser with a sunblock...there is no such thing...I don't Kojic Acid care what the bottle says and who told you what. I am here to tell you, you will damage your skin if you don't take the time to invest in a sun protection!! I am certain you don't want dark spots allover your skin for all of eternity! If you intend to continue use of the skin lightener you need to invest in a sunblock that contains Zinc oxide or Titanium dioxide. I understand you have received incorrect information via yahoo answers before but I can guarantee you will be very sorry latter on in life if you don't follow this advice!
