Remedy for itch? caused by season... in the Philippines?
This week here in the Philippines is from a whole day of rain and really hot days next.. And insects loves this kind of environment. And they thrive. My body, especially the legs get a lot of itch, bites from mosquitos and other insects loving this environment. And I've tried Olive oil... still itches... Tried Mosquito repellant from Heaven something.... still itches on the itch parts... Tried lotion... still itches. To add up, these searches I've made in the net kind of are a lot of things not available here... Like Basil leaf, etc... Lemon, well, i need to go to the market to get that. Haven't tried lemonsito yet though, ... not yet tried vics... I would like to ask what are the HOME remedies TRIED and tested that you can suggest... PLEASE! The itches are killing me. And i got "samad" from scratching them... And i stopped scratching to avoid it again... I want to know remedies, available here, and not pharmacy thingi... Philippines is a poor thriving country. Thank you so much...
I get a lot of itchy rashes and I hav e found that plain, distilled white vinegar is the best remedy. If I an not ready to shower I wash my legs, pour the vinegar (nay sting but not much)( I try to let it air dry. When it is dry I use Benadryl cortisone itching gram. At night I have a half gallon jug that I fill half and half with vinegar and after i've bathed I Pour it over my body.....it has a good balance and makes your hair shiner. Then repeat the above. DO NOT rinse the vinegar off your hair or body. Please believe me that the vinegar you use in your hair will not leave your hair smelling like vinegar but it doesn't. Vinegar is perfectly safe, it's the very same vinegar used in salad dressings, pickles etc,
