What is a good lotion brand because I have dry skin?
I haven't been able to afford Dove soap lately because I've had a lot of expenses. I've been using Dial and it has ruined the skin on my body. I'm getting scaly. I've been using Nivea for a long time, but it is expensive and doesn't work. I'm almost out of it, and I need to know what good brand of body lotion is best. Vaseline intensive care doesn't work, and suave and jurgens are lousy. I also have extremely dry hands, their becoming cut open and it is painful. I'm having severe dryness all over my body, how can I fix this?
I bought some Vaseline Jelly and it made no difference, just made me greasy.
okay. i suggest buying a tub of eucerin (no fragrance). its a creme (not oil or anything) but its really thick and kind of hard to spread (what i do is i'll spread it on my hands along with a little bit of another lotion to make it easier to spread. my whole family uses it in the wintertime when our skin gets all crackly. its kinda expensive (i recently saw one tub for 10.49 at walgreens), but one tub will last a LONG time because a little goes a long way. (like prolly 2/3 of the year).
here's a plan:
take a hot/warm shower/bath
PAT yourself dry
put on eucerin/lotion while your pores are still open from the shower
and you're set to go!
P.S. if u dont want to buy it, then something that might help (if u dont already do it) is to put on whatever lotion u use right after coming out of the shower cuz thats when your skin will absorb it most
