Getting Rid of Stretch Marks Without Having Laser Treatment

Putting on an attractive swimsuit and showing some skin is probably what we are looking forward to do when the sun is up and shining so bright but getting embarrassed with your ugly stretch marks appearance is always an issue. Then we start seeking for means to get rid and say goodbye to ugly stretch marks. There are a lot of options nowadays in getting rid of stretch marks. There are surgical treatments available and there are treatments where you doesn't need to undergo surgeries.

Laser treatment is one way to get rid of stretch marks. It may cost a fortune but I know it is worth it as you won't see unwanted stretch marks anymore after series of treatment. Yes, stretch marks that are known to be permanent once acquired can totally be eliminated through surgeries.

But, isn't it nice to somehow get rid of your stretch marks without undergoing Laser treatment?

First we have to know the reason why we develop stretch marks. Our skin is the largest organ in our body. It absorbs substances and breaths out unneeded substances through sweating. The epidermis, which is the outer layer gives waterproofing to our body and keeps infection at bay. The next skin layer is the dermis. Contains proteins, collagen and elastin that give our skin elasticity.

As we grow up and as our body change as women get pregnant, gain weight or loss weight our body adjusts to accommodate the change. Our skin then will be stretched thus causing our skin to tear apart and stretch marks to develop.

Knowing what to do about this and how to get rid of stretch marks without undergoing Laser Treatment

Prevention is always better than cure, so we should first prevent stretch marks from developing by keeping our body moisturized so it will be more elastic and not letting our skin dry out. Make sure your skin has enough collagen and elastin by feeding our skin with creams or lotions that will help produce more collagen and elastin.

Use product that has antioxidants as an active ingredient. Great antioxidants are grapeseed oil, vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba oil. These substances are known to be a great antioxidant which keep our skin moisturized and are known to be effective in preventing getting rid of stretch marks.

So to avoid worrying on how to get rid of stretch marks consider blocking them and preventing them first. As what I have said, prevention is better than cure.
